Animal Biotechnology

The field of biotechnology that uses molecular biology techniques for genetic engineering aims to increase its applicability for agricultural, industrial, or medicinal purposes. Animals that have a great deal of resemblance to humans are employed in clinical trials because they can mimic the effects of medications on human cells and can simulate the human body. Biotechnology can reduce the environmental effect of an animal and increase illness detection, treatment, and prevention capabilities.
